Overview
Learning to Read has never been so FUN!
This set includes 27 printable games sheets for students working on vowel teams and controlled r sounds. Each printable game focuses on a single vowel team or controlled r sound. Students build their reading vocabulary by reading a controlled set of words while playing the game. They won't even know they are learning!
Single Player Game: Student rolls a single die, then reads the word for the number they rolled. The word is then colored in. The student continues to roll, read and color until one animal has all their words colored in and wins the game. (Roll 6 = Roll Again)
Multi-Player Game: Students take turns rolling, reading and coloring the words (as outlined above.) The winner is the student who colors the last word in a column. In the above example if a student rolled a 3, then they would read and color the word pail to win the game.
