Compare & Contrast: Students compare and contrast key characters from the story.

Wednesday

Foolish Fairy Tales: Students use nouns, verbs, adjectives and more to create their own silly stories.

Friday

Story Circles: Students choose characters and a setting for their own fairy tale then brainstorm a beginning, middle, and ending to their story.

Write Your Own Fairy Tale Paper: Students then draft their fairy tale onto the provided paper. Encourage students to have a clear beginning, middle and ending to their story.

Great set of readers for K-1st grade

My previous review stated we were missing pages, but I was in error. My printer must have skipped them, because they are certainly in the e-book version and I was able to go back and add them to our booklets. So, five stars for a nice little literature unit. I love that the books are 15 pages without being too repetitious or having too many words that cannot be phonetically decoded at this level. My 5 and 6 year old never lost interest in reading them! The simple pictures are cute and fun to color also.
