We have been using these during our reading groups and students really enjoy them!

I love this resource.

I love this resource, and so do my students! At my school, we use the Journeys curriculum. One drawback of this curriculum is that there is limited review. This resource is fun, seasonal, and easy to prep. It promotes student independence and fluency with sight words.

Engaged

My students loved using these sight word mats. They were so engaged during independent small group time. I would have a group working with these while I was working with a group. This kept the kids quiet and engaged through 15-minute rotations.

Summer Camp!

My summer camp kids LOVE this. They ask to do it every day.

I'm not a huge fan of play dough but since this was included in the Sight Word of the Week program, we used it. I must say, this is a great use of incorporating some fun elements like play dough and it keeps the kids focused on their task that I didn't really end up with the dreaded shreds and mess of play dough everywhere! Success!
