Overview

This bundle contains three of our best-selling writing programs.

How to Write a Sentence

How to Write a Sentence is a simple, no-prep, 8-week writing program that will have your students writing sentences in record time. This K-2 curriculum begins by reviewing nouns, verbs, and adjectives then slowly builds to writing strong, detailed sentences. Each week is simply structured with a daily instructional guide that includes verbal reminders and short teaching examples. This new writing program can easily be adapted to home or classroom settings. See below for full product description.

How to Write a Paragraph

How to WRITE a Paragraph is taught 4 days/week over a course of 12 weeks. The first four weeks cover sentence structure, grammar, mechanics and strong adjectives and verbs.

The remaining 8 weeks cover four different types of paragraph writing; Descriptive, Opinion, Informative, and Narrative. During the latter portion of the curriculum, students build upon daily writing tasks to create one paragraph at the end of each week.

A simple teaching outline is provided detailing the goals and instructional points for each week. Colorful charts can be used during instructional time and kept on hand for easy reference. Students are expected to complete their writing assignments by following a simple daily checklist.

How to Write Poetry:

This curriculum contains colorful poetry charts, teacher’s guides as well as weekly activity sheets and graphic organizers. Each week begins with a chart and a teacher guide which will help you through the writing steps. Building activities will be included to teach new concepts and help students fine-tune their poetry. Both you and your students will be excited to see the artistic works of art that will be created.

Over 9 weeks, students will learn to create 9 different types of poems. This new writing program can easily be adapted to home or classroom settings.

Great for Centers

I love this, as students are learning to write sentences, they also learn to manipulate the words to make the sentences sound proper. I use this as part of my centers a great buy.

Improved Writing

This is a very good resource with great instructions. I’m a homeschooler and this really helped my child to improve his writing. We started with the how to write a sentence program and now after finishing the how to write a paragraph program, he’s become an excellent writer and what’s more, truly understand the mechanics of how to build a good sentence and a great paragraph. I highly recommend this to anyone!

Great Starting Point

This resource was a great starting point to our students that have missed almost an entire year of in-person instruction and writing practice. I am so happy I bought the bundle so we can move from sentences to paragraphs.

The Perfect Resource

This is the perfect supplement to our classical education at home. I noticed my daughter could pick out the parts of speech in any textbook but had a hard time authoring her own sentences. This was the perfect resource – plus super cute – to aid in her learning!
